የአደጋ ጊዜ ሰራተኞች በቁጥር 3285 144th St. W. ወደሚገኘው የቤተክርስቲያኑ ህንፃ የደረሱት በግምት ከጠዋቱ 4፡45 ላይ ነበር።
ከአደጋው የተነሳው ኃይለኛ እሳትና ጥቅጥቅ ያለ ጥቁር ጭስ በአቅራቢያው ካሉ የመኖሪያ መንደሮች እና ከሮዝማውንት የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት (Rosemount Elementary School) በግልጽ ይታይ ነበር።
በህንፃው ላይ ከፍተኛ መዋቅራዊ ጉዳት የደረሰ ሲሆን፣ በኃይለኛው ሙቀት ምክንያት የጣራው ትልቅ ክፍል ተደርምሷል። የእሳት አደጋ ተከላካዮች እሳቱን ሙሉ በሙሉ ለመቆጣጠር ለሰዓታት መረባረብ አስፈልጓቸዋል።

The fire broke out at 10:46 a.m. Monday at 3285 144th St. W. in Rosemount, which is the MN Debre Bisrat St. Gabriel and Arsema Ethiopian Orthodox Church, according to its Facebook page.
The building was believed to be unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Following the event, city and fire officials launched an investigation into the cause, which rendered the structure largely a total loss.
