😳 Did you know the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was created more recently than Israel?

Non-Arab Sudanese – who are now massacred and displaced by a UAE-backed militia — are older than the country orchestrating the seizure of their homes.

What’s happening in Sudan is a genocide and an occupation carried out by the RSF, a militia armed and funded by the United Arab Emirates. To understand how this came to be, we have to go back to how the UAE itself was built: as a U.S. client state in the 1970s, designed to protect Western oil and power in the Middle East.

Today, that same sub-empire fuels the destruction of Sudan — extracting gold, land, and resources while our communities are massacred and displaced.

Anwar Gargash, an adviser to the president of the United Arab Emirates, called the city's capture a "turning point" that showed "the political path is the only option to end the civil war".

The UAE has been accused by the UN of supplying the RSF with weapons. It is also a member of the so-called Quad -- alongside the United States, Saudi Arabia and Egypt -- which is working for a negotiated peace.

The group has proposed a ceasefire and a transitional civilian government that excludes both the army and the RSF from power.

Talks last week in Washington involving the Quad made no progress.

The army has its own foreign backers in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Turkey, observers have reported. They too have denied the claims.

Fear of mass killings as thousands trapped in besieged Sudan city taken by militia group.

US-based researchers have been analysing images from the besieged city of el-Fasher.

They've described "piles of bodies executed en masse, or shot by snipers attempting to breach" the city's perimeter wall.

"We see clear evidence of house-to-house clearance operations, particularly in the Darajula neighbourhood near Saudi Hospital - with what appears to be piles of objects consistent with human remains between 1.5 to two metres in length," Nathaniel Raymond, executive director of Yale's Humanitarian Research Lab.

El-Fasher is the capital of northern Darfur, a region as large as France. It’s located over 800km (497 miles) west of Khartoum and about 195 km from Nyala, capital of South Darfur State.

The city became an important commercial hub, located at the centre of Darfur states, North Kordofan, Khartoum and the Northern state.

The city serves as the main entry point for aid convoys from Port Sudan before distribution across Darfur.

El-Fasher is home to diverse tribal and ethnic groups, mainly Zaghawa, Fur, and Masalit, many of whom live in displacement camps. Arab-origin tribes are fewer and mostly in South Darfur, controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

It has been under siege by the RSF for over a year since fighting erupted between these forces and the army, with violent battles claiming hundreds of lives.

El-Fasher hosts many displacement camps. Some were established over two decades ago after Darfur’s civil war during former President Omar al-Bashir’s era, while new camps were set up after the current war, housing displaced people from other Darfur states taken over by the RSF.

In 2008, the UN-AU mission in Darfur (UNAMID) chose el-Fasher as its main base, boosting its status and urban development.

ውሳኔው ሶማሌስ ማለት ከ አስራ ስምንት/18 በታች ሊያገባ ይችላል እንዲሁም በእስላማዊ መርሆዎች መሠረት ወደ ጉልምስና ዕድሜ ላይ መድረስ ይችላል. እንዲሁም የህዝብ ተቃውሞዎች ከተፈጸመ በኋላ በ ሃያ አራት/24 ሰዓታት ውስጥ የተዘበራረቀውን የሶማሊያ ጥበቃ መሥፈርቶችን ከጊዜ በኋላ ለማስተካከል የተደረገ ሙከራ ያደርጋል።

ያለ ዕድሜ ጋብቻን የሚፈቅድ የሕግ ረቂቅ ተዘጋጅቶ ለሶማሊያ ምክር ቤት ቀርቧል። ረቂቁ ለዘጠኝ አመት አዳጊ ጭምር ትዳር የሚፈቅድ ነው። ይኸ የሕግ ረቂቅ ለረዥም አመታት በሴቶች ላይ የሚፈጸም በደል፣ አስገድዶ መድፈር እና ያለ ዕድሜ ጋብቻ በሕግ የሚያስቀጣ እንዲሆን ሲሟገቱ ለቆዩ ማሕበራት ተቀባይነት ያለው አይደለም።

ከሶማሊያ ልጃገረዶች አንድ ሶስተኛው 18 አመት ሳይሞላቸው ይዳራሉ። አብዛኞቹ ሶስት ጉልቻ የሚመሰርቱት ገና የአስራ ሁለት/12 እና የአስራ ሦስት/13 አመት አዳጊ ሳሉ ነው። እስካሁን ድረስ ያለ ዕድሜ ጋብቻን የመለከተ ሕግ በአገሪቱ የለም። አሁን ግን ያለ ዕድሜ ጋብቻን የሚፈቅድ የሕግ ረቂቅ ተዘጋጅቶ ለአገሪቱ ምክር ቤት ቀርቧል። አዲሱ የሕግ ረቂቅ የዘጠኝ አመት ልጅን ጭምር ትዳር ይፈቅዳል። ይኸንን የሕግ ረቂቅ ከሚደግፉት መካከል የሞቃዲሾው ጠበቃ አብዲራሕማን ሐሳን ኦማር አንዱ ናቸው።

"የዘጠኝ አመት ልጅ ስትዳር ሰውነቷ ለግብረ ሥጋ ግንኙነት ዝግጁ መሆኑ ይረጋገጣል። ገና ልጅ ከሆነች ለወሲብ ዝግጁ የሚያደርጋትን ሖርሞን በሰውነቷ ታዳብራለች። ሐይማኖታችን ሴት ልጅ ለአቅመ ሔዋን ስትደርስ ትዳር እንድትመሰርት ይፈቅዳል። ይኸ እስኪሆን ድረስ ግን መጠበቅ ያስፈልጋል" ይላሉ ጠበቃው።

የእስልምና እምነት ተከታዮች በብዛት በሚኖሩባቸው ሌሎች አገሮች በቅዱስ ቁርዓን ሕግጋት መሠረት ሴት ልጅ መቼ ትዳር ትመስርት የሚል ክርክር አለ። ለሞቃዲሾው ጠበቃ ግን አንድ ነገር ግልጽ ነው። ዋናው እና አንገብጋቢው ጉዳይ አንዲት ሴት በርካታ ልጆች መውለድ ይኖርባታል። "አገሮች የተለያዩ ናቸው። ባንዳንድ አገሮች አንድ ልጅ አስራ አምስት/15 አመት ሲሞላው ወይም ሲሞላት ለአቅመ አዳም ደርሷል ወይም ለአቅመ ሔዋን ደርሳለች ይባላል። በአውሮፓ አገሮች ደግሞ አስራ ስምንት/18 አመት በሌሎች አገሮች ሃያ አንድ/21 አመት ሊሞላቸው ይገባል። ቋሚ የሆነ ዕድሜ የለም። እያንዳንዱ አገር በባሕሉ እና በሐይማኖቱ መሠረት ለራሱ መወሰን ይኖርበታል" ሲሉ አብዲራሕማን ሐሳን ኦማር ይሞግሉ።

ጠበቃ አብዲራሕማን ሐሳን ኦማር የሚደግፉት የሕግ ረቂቅ በሶማሊያ የሴቶች ማሕበራት የበረታ ተቃውሞ ገጥሞታል። ማሕበራቱ ለረዥም አመታት በሴቶች ላይ የሚፈጸም በደል፣ አስገድዶ መድፈር እና ያለ ዕድሜ ጋብቻ በሕግ የሚያስቀጣ እንዲሆን ሲሟገቱ ቆይተዋል። ይሁንና የሴቶች ማሕበራት የሚፈልጉት የሕግ ረቂቅ በሶማሊያ ምክር ቤት እንኳ ውይይት አልተደረገበትም። ይኸ ደግሞ የሴቶች መብት ተሟጋች ለሆነችው ዱንዮ መሐመድ አሊ የሚያንገበግብ ሆኖባታል።

"ይሕ የሕግ ረቂቅ ሥራ ላይ እንዲውል ብዙ ታግለናል። ይሁንና ምክር ቤቱ ጥረታችንን ችላ ብሎ ወደ ቅርጫት ጣለው። የሕግ ረቂቁ በሴቶች ላይ የሚፈጸም በደል ምንድነው የሚለውን ይበይናል። አስገድዶ መድፈርን እና ያለ ዕድሜ ጋብቻን የሚመለከት ነበር። አጥፊዎች ከባድ ቅጣት እንዲጣልባቸው ያደርጋል" ትላለች ዱንዮ።

ዱንዮ የጠቀሰችው የሕግ ረቂቅ በሶማሊያ የተባበሩት መንግሥታት ድርጅት ጽህፈት ቤት ጭምር የሚደገፍ ነበር። ይሁንና ሴቶቹ ጥረታቸው አልሰመረም። ዱንዮ እንደምታስበው ይኸ ለምን እንደሆነ ታውቃለች።

"በረቂቅ ሕጉ ላይ ድምጽ የሚሰጡ ነገር ግን ራሳቸው አዳጊዎች ማግባት የሚፈልጉ የምክር ቤት አባላት እንዳሉ እናውቃለን። ወጣት ልጃገረዶች ያገቡ በርካታ የምክር ቤት አባላትን ስም መዘርዘር እችላለሁ። ቤተሰቦቻቸው ደሐ በመሆናቸው ልጆቻቸውን ለምክር ቤት አባላቱ ይሰጧቸዋል" ትላለች።

ሶማሊያ ከዓለም ደሐ አገሮች አንዷ ናት። ከሕዝቧ አብዛኛው የሚበላው በቂ ምግብ የለውም። አገሪቱን የሰላሳ/30 አመታት የርስ በርስ ጦርነት አውድሟታል። በርካቶች አገራቸውን ጥለው ይሸሻሉ። በተለይ ለሴቶች እና አዳጊ ልጃገረዶች ነገሩ ሁሉ ተስፋ አስቆራጭ ነው።

"የአገራችን ሴቶች ከባድ ፈተና እየተጋፈጡ ነው። በስደተኞች መጠለያዎች ደሕንነታቸው የተጠበቀ አይደለም። ወላጆች ልጆቻችን ይደፈራሉ ብለው ስለሚሰጉ መዳርን ይመርጣሉ። ትዳር ለደሕንነታቸው ዋስትና ይሆናል ብለው ያስባሉ። ከዚህ የባሰ ደግሞ ድሕነት ሰዎች ልጆቻቸውን እንዲሸጡ ያስገድዳቸዋል" የምትለው ዱንዮ ፈተናው ውስብስብ እንደሆነ እምነቷ ነው።

ሳድያ ቤተሰቦቿ ደሐ ናቸው። የአስራ ሦስት/13 አመቷ አዳጊ በሞቃዲሾ በሚገኝ ትምህርት ቤት ትምህርቷን በመከታተል ላይ ትገኛለች። አዳጊዋ ቤተሰቦቿ ሊድሯት እንደሚችሉ ሥጋት አላት። "ቤተሰቦቼ እንዳይረግሙኝ ውሳኔያቸውን መስማት አለብኝ። እኔን ከዳሩኝ በሚያገኙት ገንዘብ ደስተኛ ይሆናሉ። ባልየው ደግሞ ገንዘብ ስለከፈለ እንዲያሻው ሊያደርገኝ መብት እንዳለው ያስባል። ይኸ ድብደባን ይጨምራል" ስትል የ13 አመቷ አዳጊ ታስረዳለች።

ትምህርቷን ስታጠናቅቅ ሳድያ ፖለቲከኛ የመሆን ሕልም አላት። ከዚያ ምን አልባት አንድ ቀን ታገባ ይሆናል። "የምወደውን ሰው ማግባት እፈልጋለሁ። ይኸ የሚሆነው ግን ስለ ሕይወቴ እንድወስን ነፃነት ከተሰጠኝ ብቻ ነው" ስትል ለዶይቼ ቬለ ተናግራለች።

ታላቁ ዐፄ ካሌብ ንግሥናውን ትቶ ዓለምን ፍጹም በመናቅ ወደ ዋሻ ገብቶ በምንኩስና የኖረው ኢትዮጵያዊ ንጉሥ ነው። የአይሁድም ንጉሥ ፊንሐስ ነበር፡፡ “ከክርስቶስ ልደት 524 ዓመት በኋላ በናግራን ሀገር በክርስቲያኖች በአይሁዶችና በአረማውያን መካከል ከባድ ፀብ ተነሣ፡፡ የሮም ነገሥታት አስባስያኖስና ጥጦስ አይሁድን ወረው ከኢየሩሳሌም አሳደዷቸውና ይህችን ሳባን አይሁድ ወረሷት፡፡ ሳባ የምትባለው አገር በኢትዮጵያ ነገሥታት እጅ ውስጥ ነበረች”፡፡

በሳባ ውስጥም ክርስቲያኖች የሚኖሩባት ታላቅ ከተማ ነበረች፡፡ የአይሁድ ንጉሥ ፊንሐስም የአይሁዶችንና የአረመኔዎቹን ምክር እየተቀበለ ወደ ከተማዋ ገብቶ ክርስቲያኖቹን ፈጃቸው፣ አብያተ ክርስቲያናቱን ሁሉ አቃጠለ፡፡ አረማዊው ንጉሥ “አምላካችሁን ክርስቶስን ብትክዱት ሕይወታችሁ ይጠበቃል” ቢላቸውም ክርስቲያኖቹ ግን “ስለ አምላካችን ስለ ክርስቶስ መሞትን አንፈራም” ብለውት በእምነታቸው ስለጸኑ የክርስቲያኖቹ መሪ የ95 ዓመት ዕድሜ ቅዱስ ኂሩት ከነቤተሰቦቹ በመጀመሪያ በንጉሡ ፊት ለፍርድ ቀረበ፡፡ ለንጉሡም በድፍረት ‹እንዳንተ ባለው ከሐዲ ንጉሥ ፊት አምላኬን አልክድም› ብሎ መለሰለት።ንጉሡም በንዴት አንገቱ እንዲቆረጥ ፈረደበትና ቅዱስ ኂሩት ከቤተሰቦቹ ጋር የሰማዕትነትን ክብር ተቀዳጀ፡፡

የቅዱስ ኂሩት ተከታዮችንና ክርስቲያኖችንም ጥልቅ ጉድጓድ ቆፍሮ በዚያ ውስጥ በእሳት ተቃጥለው እንዲሞቱ አደረጋቸው፡፡ ይኽ ጨካኝ ንጉሥ ቀደም ብለው ያረፉትን የኤጲስ ቆጶሱን የጳውሎስን አፅም አውጥቶ በእሳትም አቃጠለው፡፡ እንዲሁም የቀሩትን ክርስቲያኖች ካሉበት እያደነ በሰይፍና በእሳት አጠፋቸው፡፡

የሮሜው ንጉሥ ዮስጢኖስም ይህን ሰምቶ ወደ እስክንድርያ ሊቀ ጳጳስ ወደ አባ ጢሞቴዎስ መልአክት ላከ፡፡ ለሀገረ ናግራን ክርስቲያኖች ደማቸውን ይበቀልላቸው ዘንድ ለኢትዮጵያው ንጉሥ ለዐፄ ካሌብ መልእክት እንዲልክ ነገረው፡፡ ዐፄ ካሌብም መልእክቱ ሲደርሰው ፈጥኖ ተነሣና በዋሻ ከሚኖር ከአቡነ ጰንጠሌዎን በረከትን ተቀብሎ ለአቡነ አረጋዊም በጸሎት እንዲያስቡት ደብዳቤ ጽፎ ከሠራዊቱ ጋር በመርከብ ተጭኖ ወደ ሀገረ ናግራን ሄደ፡፡

አባታችን አቡነ አረጋዊም ለንጉሡ ጭፍሮች “ባርከው፣ መርቀው ላኩበት፡፡ ዐፄ ካሌብ ልብሰ መንግሥቱን አውልቆ ጥሎ፣ ማቅ ለብሶ በፍጹም ልመና ብዙ ጸሎትን አደረገ፡፡ከዚያም ጦሩን አዘጋጅቶ ወደ የመን ሳባ በመርከብ ተጓዘ። ዐፄ ካሌብ ከሐዲውን ንጉሥ ገጠመውና በፈረሱ ላይ እንደተቀመጠ በጨበጣ በጦር ወግቶ ገደለውና ወደ ባሕር ገልብጦ ጣለው፡፡ ከዚያም ዐፄ ካሌብ ዛፋር ወደምትባለው ከተማ ሄዶ ተቆጣጠራት፡፡ በእዚያም ያሉትን የፊንሐስን ሹማምንቶች እያፈላለገ የክርስቲያኖቹን ደም በሚገባ ተበቀለ፡፡ የናግራንን ሕንፃዎች አደሰ፤ የሰማዕታቱን መታሰቢያ አቆመ፡፡ በእስክንድሪያ፣ በሮም፣ በቊስጥንጥንያና በዓለም ላይ ያሉ ክርስቲያኖች ሁሉ ይህን ሲሰሙ በእጅጉ ተደሰቱ፡፡ ጠፍተው የሄዱ ክርስቲያኖችንም ወደቀደመ ቦታቸው መልሶ ቤተክርስቲያናቸውን አነጸላቸው ወደ አክሱም በሰላምና በፍጹም ደስታ ተመለሰ፡፡

ዐፄ ካሌብ “ይህን ያደረገልኝን አምላኬን በምን ላስደስተው?” ሲል አሰበና ዓለምን ንቆ፣ መንግሥቱንና ክብሩን ትቶ መንኩሶ አባ ጰንጠሌዎን ገዳም አጠገብ ከሚገኝ ዋሻ ለመኖር ወሰነ፡፡ አባ ጰንጠሌዎንንም “አመንኩሰኝ” አለውና የመላእክትን አስኬማ አልብሶ አመነኮሰው፡፡ ዋጋው እጅግ የከበረ የጫነውን ዘውዱን ከጌታችን መካነ መቃብር ወይም በር ላይ ይሰቀልለት ዘንድ ከአደራ ደብዳቤ ጋር ለኢየሩሳሌሙ ሊቀ ጳጳሳት ላከለት፡፡ ዐፄ ካሌብም “ለፍጻሜው ያብቃህ በሉኝ፣ ጸልይልኝ” ብሎ ወደ አቡነ አረጋዊ ላከበት፡፡ እባታችን “ልጄ ሆይ! መልካሙንና የበለጠውን አድርገሃል፣ እግዚአብሔር የፈቀደከውን ነገር ሁሉ ይፈጽምልህ” ብለው መረቁት፡፡ ዐፄ ካሌብ ይህን ዓለም በመናቅ መነኖ በዋሻ 12 ዓመት ኖሮ ከዚህ ዓለም ድካም ዐረፈ።
