♱ በቃና ዘገሊላ ወይም በገሊላዋ ቃና ጌታችን መድኃኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የፈጸመውን ተአምር በማሰብ ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያናችን በዓል ታከብራለች፡፡ ይህም በጥምቀት በዓል ማግስት በጥር ፲፪ ነው፡፡

ጌታችን መድኃኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የገሊላ ክፍል በምትሆን በቃና በተደረገ ሰርግ ላይ ከእናቱ ከድንግል ማርያም ጋር ተገኝቶ ነበር፡፡ ቅዱስ ዮሐንስም በወንጌሉ "የጌታችን የኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ እናት ድንግል ማርያምም በዚያ ነበረች" እንዳለ እመቤታችን ለሠርገኞቹ ዘመድ ነበረችና ከልጇ ከኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በሠርጉ ላይ ተገኝታ ነበር፡፡ በተጨማሪ ደግሞ ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ከጌታ ጋር በሠርጉ ተገኝተው ነበር፡፡ ሆኖም ግን የሠርጉ ሥነ ሥርዓት እየተከናወነ ባለበት ጊዜ ድንገት የወይን ጠጅ አለቀ፡፡ አሳላፊዎቹም በጭንቀት ግራ በገባቸው ጊዜ የጭንቅ አማላጅ አዛኝ እናታችን ድንግል ማርያም ጭንቀታቸውን ተረድታ ልጇን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዘወር ብላ "የወይን ጠጅ እኮ የላቸውም" አለችው፡፡

እርሱም መልሶ "አንቺ ሴት ከአንቺ ጋር ምን አለኝ?" "ጊዜዬ ገና አልደረሰም" አላት፡፡ እመቤታችንም ለአሳላፊዎቹ "የሚላችሁን ሁሉ አድርጉ" አለቻቸው፡፡ ጌታም በቦታው የነበሩ ስድስት የድንጋይ ጋኖች ውኃ ሞልተው እንዲያመጡ አዘዛቸው፡፡ ሲያመጡለትም ውኃውንም ወደ ወይን ለውጦ ለአሳዳሪው እንዲሠጡት አዘዘ፡፡ አሳዳሪውም ወደ ወይን የተለወጠውን ውኃ በቀመሰ ጊዜ አደነቀ፡፡ ከወዴት እንደመጣ ስላላወቀ ሙሽራውን "ሰው ሁሉ መልካሙን የወይን ጠጅ አስቀድሞ ያመጣል፤ ከጠገቡ በኋላም ተርታውን ያመጣል፤ አንተ ግን መልካሙን የወይን ጠጅ እስከ አሁን አቆየህ" አለው፡፡ (ዮሐ.፪፥፩-፲፩)

ይህንን ድንቅ ተአምርም በማሰብ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስትያን አስተምህሮ በጥምቀት በዓል ማግስት ቀን የቃና ዘገሊላ በዓል ይከበራል፡፡ የቃና ዘገሊላ ጥንተ ነገሩ የተፈጸመው የካቲት ፳፫ ቀን ነው፡፡ ነገር ግን አባቶቻችን የውኃን በዓል ከውኃ በዓል ጋር ለማክበር ብለው የካቲቱን በዓል ወደ ጥር ፲፪ አምጥተውታል፡፡ ይህም ውኃ ወደ ወይን የተለወጠበትን በዓል ከጌታ ጥምቀት በዓል ጋር ለማከናወን ነው፡፡

ይህ ፤ በበዓላት ዕለታት የምንደሰትበት ዘመን አይደለም፤ ሆኖም እንኳን ለብርሃነ ጥምቀቱ፣ ለቃና ዘገሊላ እና ለቅዱስ ሚካኤል ዕለት አደረሰን! ለእውነት እና ለፍትሕ እንቁም!

♱ ፈጣኑ መልአክ ቅዱስ ሚካኤል ሆይ አስቀድሞ የተጣላህን በቀል ባለመርሳት ጋሻህን አንሣ

♱ ፈጣኑ መልአክ ሆይ ነበልባላዊ ሰይፍህን በጠላታችን በዲያብሎስ ላይ መዘህ ተነሣሣበት።

💭 በእነዚህ ቀናት ቀንደኛው የኢትዮጵያ፣ የተዋሕዶ ክርስትናዋ እና የጥምቀቱ ጠላት ግራኝ አብዮት አህመድ አሊ ጥምቀቱን ከኢትዮጵያዊው ለማራቅና ለመንጠቅ ብዙ ዲያብሎሳዊ ተንኮሎችን በመሥራት ላይ ይገኛል። እንደተለመደው በመቀበጣጠር፣ “ጽዮናዊውን የአጼ ዮሐንስን ቀይ፣ ቢጫና አረንጓዴ ሰንደቅ መያዝ ክልክል ነው! ወዘተ” በማለት፤ እንዲሁም የአሜሪካ ልዑካንን ወደ አዲስ አበባ በመጋበዝ።

ልብ እንበል፤ በዘንድሮውም የጥምቀት በዓል የፋሺስቱ ጋላ-ኦሮሞ ኢስላማዊ አገዛዝ 'ድሮኖችን አሰማራለሁ' እያለ መዛቱና ማሰማራቱ “ከበሰተ ሰማይ ያለሁት እኔ ነኝ እንጂ እግዚአብሔር አይደለም” እያለ ሕዝበ ክርስቲያኑን ለማስጨነቅና ለማስፈራራት ብሎም በዚህች በተቀደሰች ዕለት የአውሬው (ቴክኖሎጂ)አምላኪ ለማድረግ ሲል ነው። በዚህ አጋጣሚ ሕዝባችንን የድሮን ቤተ ሙከራ ከማድረግ የማይቆጠብ እጅግ አረመኔ አገዛዝ መሆኑን እናስታውስ። ማዳከሚያ እና 'ልፍስፍስ ግብረ-ሰዶማዊ' ማድረጊያውን ጨረር ከድሮኖቹ ቢያፈነጥቅ ፣ ስውር መርዞችን ቢያርከፈክፍ ልንገረም አይገባንም፤ ያደርገዋል፤ ቀደም ሲልም በትግራይ ሕዝብ ላይ አድርጎታል።

ከሦስት ዓመታት በፊት በጥምቀት ዋዜማ ፣ የጌታችን ልደት ዕለት አሰቃቂ የድሮን ጭፍጨፋዎችን በትግራይ ያካሄደው የአሜሪካ ልዑካን ከአዲስ አበባ በተመለሱ እና ግራኝ ከፕሬዚደንት ባይድን ጋር በስልክ በተነጋገረበት ማግስት መሆኑን እናስታውስ።

Among the many miracles that our Lord performed, our church celebrates the miracle of Cana in Galilee. What is the reason that she made the miracle of Cana to be celebrated as one of our Lord's sub-celebrations without celebrating the day on which he healed Meggu, raised Lazarus from the dead, enlightened his eyes, and freed those held captive by demons? Does the mere fact that a man makes water into wine at his marriage with a woman really make the church celebrate it as the feast of the Lord? not at all! Saint John wrote extensively about this wedding, and our holy church celebrates the feast of Cana in Galilee, "God who can do all things made six barrels of water into wine!" It's not because the story of this wedding house contains a deep secret that explains the salvation and heavenly glory of mankind.

ከሦስት ቀናት በፊት እ.ኤ.አ. ጁላይ 16 ቀን 2025 በሶሪያ መንደር አስ ሱራ አል ካቢራ የአንጾኪያ ኦርቶዶክስ ቤተክርስቲያን የሆነው የቅዱስ ሚካኤል ኦርቶዶክስ ቤተክርስቲያን ተቃጥሎ ተዘርፏል።

የሶሪያ የሰብአዊ መብቶች ታዛቢ ቡድን እንደገለጸው፣ በቤተክርስቲያኑ ላይ የተፈፀመው ጥቃት የሲቪል ቤቶችን መውደም፣ የመኖሪያ ሕንፃዎችን በማቃጠል እና ከፍተኛ ዘረፋዎችን ያካተተ ነው።

ለጥቃቱ ተጠያቂ የሆነው የታጠቀው ቡድን የሱኒ አረብ አል-ሻይታት ጎሳ አባላትን ያቀፈ መሆኑን ገልጿል። በእራሳቸው የይገባኛል ጥያቄ መሰረት፣ የታጣቂዎቹ አላማ በአስ-ሱራ አል-ካቢራ መንደር ላይ ሙሉ ቁጥጥር ማድረግና ክርስቲያኖችን መጨፍጨፍና ማባረር ነው።

♰ On July 16, 2025, in the Syrian village of As-Sura al-Kabira, the Orthodox Church of St. Michael, belonging to the Antiochian Orthodox Church, was set on fire and looted.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the attack on the church was accompanied by the destruction of civilian homes, the burning of residential buildings, and widespread looting.

The armed group responsible for the attack stated that it consisted of members of the Sunni Arab Al-Shaitat tribe. According to their own claims, the militants’ goal is to establish full control over the village of As-Sura al-Kabira by Expelling or killing Christians.

Human rights activists note that the nature of the attack – which included the burning of an Orthodox church and the destruction of civilian homes—may indicate a religious motivation. The actions of the group may have been aimed at increasing pressure on the Christian and Druze communities in the region.

Local sources report that the village of As-Sura al-Kabira has come under the control of the armed faction from the Al-Shaitat tribe.

It is also noted that St. Michael’s Church is located in a settlement that had already suffered destruction during the civil war. In particular, in 2014 the village briefly fell under the control of factions linked to former Islamist coalition leader Ahmed al-Sharaa (Abu Mohammad al-Julani) of Jabhat al-Nusra.

The recent escalation of conflict in the al-Suwayda Governorate has led to dozens of deaths and injuries, as well as the mass displacement of civilians. The situation in the area is described as extremely unstable.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that in Syria, leaflets calling for the killing of Christians had appeared on church doors.

The Mar Michael Church, a modest stone structure with deep roots in local tradition, has stood as a spiritual and cultural landmark in Al-Sura al-Kabira for generations. More than just a house of worship, it served as a gathering point for community events and a symbol of resilience in a region long known for its religious and ethnic diversity.

“This church is not made of stones,” Father al-Jut wrote. “It is built on faith — faith that still lives in our hearts. And we will rebuild it.”

The burning of Mar Michael Church follows weeks of intensifying violence in Suwayda province, where clashes between Druze militias, tribal armed groups, and government forces have pushed security in the region to the brink of collapse. While much of the media attention has focused on urban centers like Suwayda city, this attack highlights the growing vulnerability of rural and minority communities caught in the widening storm of violence.

Ahmed Al-Sharaa’s forces are trying to terrorize the Christians (and other religious minorities) into abandoning the country. This kind of diabolic action is how “the Islamic world” was created.
