After being rescued by the National Police and spending several days in the hospital, Eva María, the young woman brutally tortured and raped for a whole week, told us that her health is still fragile and that she will need surgery in a few days because half of her body is burned: “I’m still in bad shape and they’re going to transfer me to the burn unit.”

Nacho Abad wanted to know the details of what happened, and with great courage, Eva María explained how she arrived at the drug den in the San Juan XXIII neighborhood of Alicante, who took her there, and how she experienced the terrible ordeal: “I got there through an acquaintance who told me that some friends from San Juan wanted to meet me… We went into the house, and when I realized what was happening, I went to the bathroom, took a few puffs of a marijuana joint, and felt dizzy. When I came out, she wasn't there, and one of them punched me, shattering my eye… They took me upstairs to the bedroom; there were some cardboard boxes on the floor. They tied me up with cable ties and started burning me with a blowtorch, and the next day the rapes began…”

Nacho Abad, horrified by the cruelty of what happened, wanted to know how the victim felt: “I wanted to die from the very first moment. I didn't know why someone could do that without knowing me, just because. It went on for a week… On the last day, I was convulsing on the floor, and his intention was to put me in the car and leave me in an open field… If it hadn't been for the girl who arrived… The same woman who brought me brought her. I told her, 'Get out of here, look what they've done to me.' When the police arrived, they found me convulsing, almost dead…”

Mariana, Eva María's mother: “I can't even imagine it, they are unforgivable.”

José María Fernández, a reporter for ‘En boca de todos,’ and Mariana, Eva María's mother, showed tremendous courage to make the live connection in the neighborhood where she grew up and where her daughter was brutally raped and tortured.

Mariana tried to catch her breath because she had broken down while listening to her daughter's terrible testimony from the… "They are unforgivable," she said. Deeply affected, she explained the pain she feels and denounced a young woman named Penelope, who was the one who took Eva Maria to the drug den where the three Algerians tortured her mercilessly. According to reports, the young woman is in hiding and no one has been able to locate her. Apparently, this Penelope was also the one who took the other young woman to the apartment and alerted the police that Eva Maria was being held captive.

Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces killed thousands of people, including patients inside a hospital, after seizing control of the city of el-Fasher in the western Darfur region over the weekend, according to the United Nations, aid workers and displaced residents who described scenes of horror and mass killings.

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a statement that about 460 patients and their companions were reportedly killed at the Saudi Maternity Hospital in el-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur. He said the WHO was “appalled and deeply shocked” by reports of mass executions inside the facility. The Sudan Doctors Network, a medical group tracking the conflict, said RSF fighters “cold-bloodedly killed everyone they found inside the hospital,” including patients, family members and staff.

Non-Arab Sudanese – who are now massacred and displaced by a UAE-backed militia — are older than the country orchestrating the seizure of their homes.

The UAE has been accused by the UN of supplying the RSF with weapons. It is also a member of the so-called Quad -- alongside the United States, Saudi Arabia and Egypt -- which is working for a negotiated peace.

The group has proposed a ceasefire and a transitional civilian government that excludes both the army and the RSF from power.

Talks last week in Washington involving the Quad made no progress.

The army has its own foreign backers in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Turkey, observers have reported. They too have denied the claims.

Fear of mass killings as thousands trapped in besieged Sudan city taken by militia group.

US-based researchers have been analysing images from the besieged city of el-Fasher.

They've described "piles of bodies executed en masse, or shot by snipers attempting to breach" the city's perimeter wall.

"We see clear evidence of house-to-house clearance operations, particularly in the Darajula neighbourhood near Saudi Hospital - with what appears to be piles of objects consistent with human remains between 1.5 to two metres in length," Nathaniel Raymond, executive director of Yale's Humanitarian Research Lab.

El-Fasher is the capital of northern Darfur, a region as large as France. It’s located over 800km (497 miles) west of Khartoum and about 195 km from Nyala, capital of South Darfur State.

The city became an important commercial hub, located at the centre of Darfur states, North Kordofan, Khartoum and the Northern state.

The city serves as the main entry point for aid convoys from Port Sudan before distribution across Darfur.

El-Fasher is home to diverse tribal and ethnic groups, mainly Zaghawa, Fur, and Masalit, many of whom live in displacement camps. Arab-origin tribes are fewer and mostly in South Darfur, controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

It has been under siege by the RSF for over a year since fighting erupted between these forces and the army, with violent battles claiming hundreds of lives.

El-Fasher hosts many displacement camps. Some were established over two decades ago after Darfur’s civil war during former President Omar al-Bashir’s era, while new camps were set up after the current war, housing displaced people from other Darfur states taken over by the RSF.

In 2008, the UN-AU mission in Darfur (UNAMID) chose el-Fasher as its main base, boosting its status and urban development.

አላህ በክርስቲያኖች ላይ ጥላቻን ያነሳሳል ቁርኣን 5፡14፡- “ከነዚያም እኛ ናሳራዎች ነን ከሚሉት ከፊሉ ቃል ኪዳናቸውን ያዝን። በርሱም የተገሰጹበትን ከፊሉን ረሱ። በመካከላቸውም እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን ድረስ ጠላትነትንና ጥላቻን አነሳንባቸው። አላህም ይሠሩት የነበሩትን ሁሉ ይነግራቸዋል።”

ሙስሊም አማኞች ከአላህ የበለጠ አሸባሪ ናቸው። አላህ በቁርኣን 59፡13 ላይ “እናንተ [ሙስሊሞች] በደረታቸው ውስጥ ከአላህ የበለጠ ሽብር ናችሁ። ይህ እነርሱ[ አይሁዶችና ክርስቲያኖች] የማያውቁ ሰዎች በመሆናቸው ነው።

እስልምና በሄደበት ሁሉ ስነ ምግባሩም ይሄዳል። የእስልምና ጽንፈኞች አረመኔያዊ ድርጊት እና የተለያዩ ድርጊቶች በአለም ላይ በየቀኑ እየታዩ በእስልምና ባንዲራ ሥር ሲፈፀሙ እና በጣም የተለመደ ነገር ከመሆናቸው የተነሳ አለም በችግር ውስጥ ያለ የሰው ልጅ የተለመደ አካል አድርጎ ይመለከታቸዋል። እናም፣ ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ፣ ዓለም እነዚህ እስላማዊ ሮቦቶች የሚፈጽሙትን እኩይ ተግባር በማለፍ እና ለቅጽበት በመረዳት ድንጋጤ ውስጥ ትገባለች እናም በፍጥነት ይህንን የሰው ልጅ መከራ በቁም ነገር ለመፍታት ምንም አላደረጉም።

The barbarity and variety of actions of Islamic extremists are seen daily around the globe, committed under the banner of Islam and have become so commonplace that the world has come to view them as the normal part and parcel of a troubled humanity. And, from time-to-time, the world is shocked into a passing and momentary realization of the evil deeds these Islamist robots commit and quickly gets over it and does nothing to seriously address this affliction of humanity.

Humankind is confronting a deeply troubling quandary. On the one hand is the aspiration of tolerant people whose objective is to forge a world of diverse people into one human society ruled by peace and respect for the inherent dignity and well-being of each member of that family. On the other, Islamic extremists are hell-bent on imposing their stone-age dogma on everyone else.

An easy answer is Islam. The life manual of Islam, the Qur'an, is a document of exclusion, hatred and violence that shapes Muslims’ thinking and behaving. Sadly, Muslims themselves are the ones who are most victimized by Islamic doctrine. They have inherited this viral psychological disease of hate and violence; they live by it, and transmit it to their children as well as to receptive others.

Qur'an: 9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

Islamic doctrine, like a mental retrovirus has mutated into numerous varieties and degrees of severity over the past 1,400 years. Everyone born in a Muslim family, as well as those who convert to Islam, contract a particular mutation of the Islamic virus. As is the case with all retroviruses, the Islamic virus burrows deeply into the person and erupts, from time-to-time with potentially devastating consequences.
