የተገደሉት ምእመናን የዕድሜ ክልላቸው ከ፪/2 ዓመት ጀምሮ እስከ ፸፮/76 ዓመት አዛውንት ይገኙበታል።

በተጨማሪም ሁለት ሰዎች በጥቃቱ ምክንያት ከፍተኛ ጉዳት ደርሶባቸው ለተሻለ ሕክምና ወደ አቦምሳ ከተማ ሪፈር መሄዳቸው ታውቋል፡፡

ከዚህ በፊት በተመሳሳይ ሁኔታ በቀበሌው ውስጥ የሚኖሩ ፰/8 ኦርቶዶክሳውያን ሌሊት ላይ ከቤታቸው አስወጥተው የታጠቁ ኃይሎች በአሰቃቂ ሁኔታ መግደላቸውን ለማወቅ ተችሏል።

ከተገደሉት ምእመናን ውስጥ ፮/6ቱ በገገሌ በዓለወልድ ቤተ ክርስቲያን፣አንድ ደግሞ በሞዬ ቅዱስ ዮሐንስ ቤተ ክርስቲያን እና ቀሪ ሟቾች ባሉበት አካባቢያቸው ሥርዓተ ቀብራቸው መፈጸሙ ተገልጿል።

14 Orthodox Christians living in the district were brutally murdered by armed Gala-Oromos who forced them out of their homes and killed them in a brutal manner on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at around 6:00 PM. Six of them had been kidnapped the day before.

The victims ranged in age from 2 to 76 years old.

It was also learned that two people were seriously injured in the attack and were referred to Abomsa town for better treatment.

The group has proposed a ceasefire and a transitional civilian government that excludes both the army and the RSF from power.

Talks last week in Washington involving the Quad made no progress.

US-based researchers have been analysing images from the besieged city of el-Fasher.

They've described "piles of bodies executed en masse, or shot by snipers attempting to breach" the city's perimeter wall.

"We see clear evidence of house-to-house clearance operations, particularly in the Darajula neighbourhood near Saudi Hospital - with what appears to be piles of objects consistent with human remains between 1.5 to two metres in length," Nathaniel Raymond, executive director of Yale's Humanitarian Research Lab.

El-Fasher is the capital of northern Darfur, a region as large as France. It’s located over 800km (497 miles) west of Khartoum and about 195 km from Nyala, capital of South Darfur State.

The city became an important commercial hub, located at the centre of Darfur states, North Kordofan, Khartoum and the Northern state.

The city serves as the main entry point for aid convoys from Port Sudan before distribution across Darfur.

El-Fasher is home to diverse tribal and ethnic groups, mainly Zaghawa, Fur, and Masalit, many of whom live in displacement camps. Arab-origin tribes are fewer and mostly in South Darfur, controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

It has been under siege by the RSF for over a year since fighting erupted between these forces and the army, with violent battles claiming hundreds of lives.

El-Fasher hosts many displacement camps. Some were established over two decades ago after Darfur’s civil war during former President Omar al-Bashir’s era, while new camps were set up after the current war, housing displaced people from other Darfur states taken over by the RSF.

In 2008, the UN-AU mission in Darfur (UNAMID) chose el-Fasher as its main base, boosting its status and urban development.

✞ Romanians flock to a new cathedral that is the world´s largest Orthodox church after 15 Years of Construction.

Thousands of pilgrims turned out Sunday in Romania´s capital for the consecration of religious paintings inside the world´s largest Christian Orthodox church that was being opened after 15 years of construction.

Worshippers and officials arrived in droves at the People´s Salvation Cathedral, known as the National Cathedral, which at its highest point stands more than 125 meters (410 feet) and has an inner capacity for 5,000 worshippers in the deeply Orthodox country. The cathedral's opulent interior is covered with frescoes and mosaics depicting saints and icons.

Proposals for a national cathedral in the country of about 19 million people had been put forward for more than a century, but its fruition was hampered by two world wars and the decades of communist rule, which sought to suppress religion. The Romanian Orthodox Church has called the cathedral "a symbol of national identity."

Romania is one of the most pious countries in the European Union, with around 85% of the population identifying as religious.

Situated behind the hulking Palace of the People built by the late communist leader Nicolae Ceausescu, construction for the cathedral finally began in 2010, and its altar was consecrated in 2018. It has so far cost a reported 270 million euros ($313 million), with a majority drawn from public funds, and some works are yet to be completed.

Traffic was restricted for Sunday´s service, which was attended by President Nicusor Dan and Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. Many worshippers watched via TV screens set up outside the cathedral.

The cathedral´s mosaics and iconography cover an area of 17,800 square meters (191,000 square feet), according the cathedral´s website.

Daniel Codrescu, who has spent seven years working on the frescoes and mosaics, told The Associated Press that much of the iconography has been inspired by medieval Romanian paintings and others from the Byzantine world.

"It was a complex collaboration with the church, with art historians, with artists, also our friends of contemporary art," he said. "I hope (the church) is going to have a very important impact on society because ... it´s a public space."

With one of the largest budget deficits in the EU, not everyone in Romania was happy about the cost of the project. Critics bemoan that the massive church has drawn on public funds, which could have been spent on schools or hospitals.

Claudiu Tufis, an associate professor of political science at the University of Bucharest, said the project was a "waste of public money" but said it could offer a "boost to national pride and identity" for some Romanians.

"The fact that they have forced, year after year, politicians to pay for it, in some cases taking money from communities that really needed that money, indicates it was a show of force, not one of humility and love of God," he said. "Economically, it might be OK in the long term as it will be a tourist attraction."

Rares Ghiorghies, 37, supports the church but said the money would be better spent on health and education as "a matter of good governance."

"The big problem in society is that most of those who criticize do not follow the activities of the church," he said.

የኦርቶዶክስ ክርስትናን ከፍታ አሳይቶ ለማክበርና ሰማይ ጠቀሱን ካቴድራል ለማቋቋም የታቀደው እ.ኤ.አ. በ 1878 ሩሲያ እና ሮማኒያ በክርስቶስ ተቃዋሚዎቹ የኦቶማን ሙስሊም ኃይሎች ላይ ድል በተቀዳጁበት ወቅት ነው። ሮማውያን ያንን ግጭት የነጻነት ጦርነት ብለው ይጠሩታል።

በ፳/20ኛው መቶ ዘመን፣ የዓለም ጦርነቶች፣ ከዚያም የኮሚኒስት አምባገነንነት እንቅፋት በመሆናቸው እንዲሁም በወቅቱ አካባቢን ለመምረጥ በመቸገራቸው የካቴድራሉ ፕሮጀክት በተደጋጋሚ እንዲቀር ተደርጓል። በመጨረሻም፣ እ.ኤ.አ. በ2010፣ በኮሚኒስት አምባገነን ኒኮላ ቻውሴስኩ በታወቀው አንጋፋ የፓርላማ ቤተ መንግስት ግዛት ጥቅም ላይ ባልዋለ መሬት ላይ ካቴድራሉ እንዲሠራ ተወስኗል፣ እናም ግንባታው ከዚያን ጊዜ ጀምሮ ቀጥሏል።

እስካሁን ለፕሮጀክቱ ፪፻/200 ሚሊዮን ዩሮ (፪፻፲፮/216 ሚሊዮን ዶላር) ወጪ ተደርጓል፣ አብዛኛው ገንዘብ የሚገኘው ከህዝብ መዋጮ እና ሩቡም ከልገሳ ነው።

የካቴድራሉ መንፈሳዊ እና ተግባራዊ ውጤቶች ዋጋውን ከዋጋው በላይ ያደርገዋል። ቦታው ለሁለቱም የኦርቶዶክስ ክርስቲያኖች እና አማኝ ያልሆኑ ሰዎች ትልቅ የአምልኮ ስፍራ ሊሆን ይችላል።

ካቴድራሉ አንድ ሺህ/1,000 ዘማሪዎችን እና ስድስት ሺህ/ 6,000 ምእመናንን በዋናው አዳራሽ ውስጥ መያዝ ይችላል። አንድ ትልቅ የአርቲስቶች ቡድን በአሁኑ ጊዜ የውስጥ ገጽታዎችን በሚሞሉ ሞዛይኮች ላይ እየሠራ ነው።

ለፕሮጀክቱ ፳፭/25 ቶን ደወል የተነደፈው በጣሊያን ካምፓኖሎጂስት ፍላቪዮ ዛምቦቶ በሚመራ ቡድን ነው። እሱ የሚያወጣው እያንዳንዱ ደወል ለእሱ "እንደ ልጅ" ቢሆንም ለቡካሬስት ካቴድራል የተነደፈውን ግዙፍ መሣሪያ "ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ለመስማት ስሜታዊ ነበር ጠንካራ፣ ጥልቅ፣ ረጅም፣ አንተን የሚያቅፍ ድምፅ ነው፣ ምልክት ያደርጋል” በማለት ባለሙያው ለሮማኒያ ሚዲያ ተናግሯል።

በ፳/20 ኪሎ ሜትር ርቀት ላይ ደወሉን ለመስማት የሚቻል መሆኑን ዘገባዎች ጠቁመዋል።

በቪዲዮው ላይ የዘመናዊው የሮማኒያ ግዛት መቶኛ ዓመት ሆኖ ስለተከበረ የሕዝባዊ ድነት ካቴድራል እ.ኤ.አ. ሕዳር 25 ቀን 2018 ተቀድሷል። በቪዲዮው ላይ ብዙ አማኞች ከካቴድራሉ ውጭ ተሰብስበው አገልግሎቱን በትልልቅ ስክሪኖች ሲመለከቱ እናያለን።

❖ የሮማኒያ ኦርቶዶክስ ሰዎች መገኘት የሚያሳየው ይህ ካቴድራል ከ፲፵/140 ዓመታት በፊት የታቀደው ከንቱ እንዳልሆነ ነው። ለሁሉም ለሮማኒያ ጀግኖች መታሰቢያ እና የሀገር አንድነት ምልክት ነው።

❖ አዎ! ሃሌ ሉያ! ባህላዊ እና ሃይማኖታዊ ቅርሶቿን እና ማንነቷን ለመጠበቅ ለሮማኒያውያን ምስጋና እና አድናቆት

❖ ክርስቲያን ሕዝብ ጤናማ ሕዝብ ነው።

❖ እንደ ሮማንያዊ ይህ ቤተክርስቲያን እስኪጠናቀቅ መጠበቅ አልችልም! እዛ ሄጄ ለመጸለይ እና በክርስቶስ ፊት ለመሆን እቅድ አለኝ! ክርስቶስ በሁሉም ኦርቶዶክስ ቤተክርስቲያን ውስጥ አለ።

❖ እንደ ማሌዥያዊ ኦርቶዶክስ ክብር ለእግዚአብሔር ይሁን። በዚህ ልፍስፍስ ምዕራባዊ ዓለም መካከል ሮማውያን በእምነታቸው ያድጉ ዘንድ መልካም ነው።

❖ ምንም እንኳን ኦርቶዶክስ ባልሆንም ለእነሱ ትልቅ ክብር አለኝ ይህ ካቴድራል እጅግ አስደናቂ ነው የአውሮፓ ህብረትን ለሚመሩት ዓለማውያን ትልቅ የፊት ጥፊ መመታት ነው።

❖ ቆንጆ! እግዚአብሔር ሮማኒያን ይጠብቅ

❖ ይህ በጣም ጥሩ ነው። ሮማኒያ ባህሏንና ሥሮቿን/መሠረቶቿን ከፍ አድርጋ ትመለከታለች። በምዕራቡ ዓለም ከእነርሱ አንድ ነገር መማር እንችላለን።

❖ ውብ ይሆናል። ከአንድ ካቶሊክ እግዚአብሔር አምላክ ሮማኒያን እና የኦርቶዶክስ እምነትን ይባርክ።

❖ ከብሪታኒያ ሃይማኖት የቀየርኩ/የተለወጠ ሰው ነኝ ባለፈው እሁድ ተጠመቅኩ... ምርጥ ምርጫ!

❖ አሜሪካ ውስጥ ያለሁ የኦርቶዶክስ እምነት ተከታይ እንደመሆኔ፣ ይህንን በቅርብ ጊዜ እጎበኘዋለሁ።

❖ እንደ ሮማንያዊ ምንም የሚያከራክር ነገር የለም። ካቴድራሉ ለ ፪፻/200 ዓመታት እቅድ ተይዞ ነበር ነገር ግን ሥራ ይጀመራል በተባለ ቁጥር ጦርነቱ እያራዘመው ነበር።

❖ £200m ለሀገር አቀፍ ግንባታ? ለእኔ ምክንያታዊ እና ተገቢ ነው። ብሪታኒያ ለዌምብሌይ ስታዲየም ብቻ £800m አውጥታለች። እግር ኳስ የሚጫወትበት ሕንፃ። ታዲያ ለፀሎት ውድ የሆነ ሕንፃ ያስደንቃልን?

❖ እግዚአብሔርን ያከብራል ምእመናንን ያነሳሳል ስለዚህም ዋጋው ሲያንሰው ነው።

❖ ሚኒሶታ 1.4ቢሊየን ዶላር (ጥገናን ሳይጨምር) በህዝብ የተደገፈ የአሜሪካ እግር ኳስ/NFL ስታዲየም አላት።

❖ ሮማኒያ እንደሌሎች የክርስቲያን ሃገራት ብሔራዊ ካቴድራል የላትም፣ ይህ ደግሞ ከ፻/100 ዓመታት በላይ ሲሠራ ቆይቷል። አሁን እየገነባን መሆናችን በፍፁም የተረጋገጠ ነው፣ እኛ ከመቼውም ጊዜ በላይ ሀብታም ስንሆን።

❖ እንደ አንድ ምዕራባዊ ሰው በየቦታው ብዙ ከንቱ ፕሮጄክት ህንጻዎች ጋር (እውነት ነው በሌላ ጊዜ መገንባት)፣ አንዳንድ ሀውልት ህንፃዎችን የሚሹ አገሮችን ሲተቹ መስማት እንዴት አስቂኝ ነው?! ቬርሳይ እና መሰሎቹ ህዝቡ እየተራበ እንዳልተገነቡ። በዚያ ላይ ምስራቃዊ አውሮፓን መጎብኘት እና ግዙፍ የስነ-ህንፃ ጥበብ ስለሌላቸው ልንነቅፋቸው ይገባናልን?! ይህን ስል፣ እኔ በጣም ሃይማኖተኛ ባልሆንም እንኳ፣ ብዙ ሰዎች እንዳሉ ይገባኛል፣ እና እናንተም አብያተ ክርስቲያናትን መገንባት አለባችሁ የሚል እምነት አለኝ። ሰዎች ለሆስፒታሎችም እኮ ይለግሳሉ። ለጦርነት እና ጦር መሣሪያም እንደዚሁ! ዪክሬንን ብቻ ማየት በቂ ነው!

ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ ፴/30 ሚሊዮን የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ እምነት ተከታዮች በረሃብ እየተጋፈጡ ባለበት ወቅት፣ የፋሺስት ጋላ-ኦሮሞው አገዛዝ የዘር ማጥፋት እልቂት መሪ ለራሱና ለኤዶማውያን እና እስማኤላውያን ሞግዚቶች ፲፭/15 ቢሊዮን ዶላር ቤተ መንግሥት እየገነባ ነው። በሰሜናዊው ንፍቀ ክበብ ከሚመጣው የኒውክሌር አፖካሊፕስ መትረፍ ይችሉ ዘንድ ሉሲፈርያውያን ከኢትዮጵያ ቅዱሳን ተራሮች በታች መትረፊያ የዋሻ ቤቶችን እንዲሠራ ትእዛዝ ሰጥተውታል።

😇 Archdeacon and First Martyr Saint Stephen

In the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, Saint Stephen is commemorated monthly on the 17th day of every month, and the annual feast of Saint Stephen the Archdeacon is celebrated on Teqemet 17 (which is October 27th in the Gregorian calendar). He is honored as the first martyr (Protomartyr) and as the first of the seven deacons chosen after Pentecost

Dedication to the ordination of the First Martyr and Archdeacon Stephen, who was stoned to death about three years after the Ascension of the Lord.

Saint Stephen was a Hellenistic Jew and belonged to the group of the seven deacons selected by the Apostles to carry out the charity work of the first Christian community of Jerusalem.

According to the Acts of the Apostles, he was a man filled with the grace of the Holy Spirit. He preached with boldness and performed many great wonders. His action caused the animosity of the Judean priesthood, for they failed to understand and accept the ecumenical dimension and the liberating content of Christ’s preaching to every human being, and especially to those who had been wronged.

The First Martyr Stephen was considered a blasphemer and a denier of Judaism, for he declared, even before the Sanhedrin (great assembly), that Moses and the Mosaic Law, as well as all the Prophets and the Righteous of the Old Testament, were not carriers of salvation, but prepared the way for the coming of the true Savior, who is Christ.

Imitating His love, and dedicating himself to Him, he forgave his murderers, begging the Triune God not to impute to them the sin they had committed.

ለመንፈሳዊ ሕይወት በጣም ታታሪ የሆነው ክርስቲያን ወገናችን ሊመሰገን፣ ሊወደስና ሊደነቅ ይገባዋል፤ ብዙ ጊዜ ሲኮነን እንጂ ሲደነቅ አንሰማም። ከሌሊቱ ዘጠኝ ሰዓት አንስቶ እስከ ቀኑ ስድስት ሰዓት ድረስ ቀዳሚ ሰማዕት ቅ/እስጢፋኖስን ለማስታወስ በቤተክርስቲያኑ ተገኝቷል።

እስኪ የት ሌላ ዓለም ነው ተመሳሳይ ሁኔታ የሚታየው? በየትኛውስ ሌላ ሐይማኖት? ካቶሊኩና ፕሮቴስታንቱ ከአንድ ሰዓት በኋላ፣ እስላሙ ከሠላሳ ደቂቃ በኋላ ነው ለአምላኮቻቸው ጸልይው የሚበታተኑት።

ደብረ ሰላም ቅዱስ እስጢፋኖስ ቤተ ክርስቲያን፣ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ በንግሥት ዘውዲቱ ዘመነ መንግሥት በ፲፱፻፱ ዓ/ም ተመሠረተ። በዚያን ጊዜም ዘመኑ በፈቀድው መልክ የቤተ ክርስቲያኑ ሕንጻ ተጠናቆ ሲወደስበት ሳለ፤ በጣልያን የወረራ ዘመን፣ በ፲፱፻፴፪ ዓ/ም ባልታወቀ ምክንያት የእሳት አደጋ ደርሶበት ሕንጻው ተቃጠለ።

ኢትዮጵያ ከ ፋሺስት የወረራ ቀንበር ከተላቀቀች በኋላ፤ የግንባታው ሥራ በሥራ ሚኒስቴር ኃላፊነት በዘመናዊ መልክ እንዲሠራ በተሰጠው ትዕዛዝ መሠረት ሚኒስትሩ ባላምባራስ (በኋላ ብላቴን ጌታ) ማኅተመ ወልደ መስቀል በአንድ በኩል የአካባቢውም ኗሪ እና የቤተ ክርስቲያኑ ምእመን በመሆናቸው እና በሚኒስቴራዊ ኃላፊነታችው፤ ሥራውን በቅርብ እየተከታተሉና እየተቆጣጠሩ አሠርተውት የአሁኑ ሕንጻ ግንባታ ፍጻሜ አግኝቶ ጥቅምት ፲፯ ቀን ፲፱፻፶፫ ዓ/ም ቅዳሴ ቤቱ የግብጽ ኮፕት ቤተ ክርስቲያን ፓትረያርክ፣ ብፁዕ ወቅዱስ አቡነ ቄርሎስ ፮ኛ በተገኙበት ተባረከ፡፡
