☪ A mob burnt
a woman to death in central Nigeria over the weekend after accusing
her of blasphemy against Islam, police said Monday.
The woman “was
set ablaze” on Saturday in a “mob attack” after she made
comments about the Prophet Mohammed, police spokesman Wasiu Abiodun
in Niger state said in a statement.
He said the
woman was a food vendor named Amaye from northwest Nigerian Katsina
state.
Abiodun added
that the police condemned any act of “jungle justice” and urged
members of the public to remain calm during the search for the
attackers.

♰ 'A lot of
fear': Ethiopian community grieves following Cincinnati shooting that
killed 3 Christians.
MT. WASHINGTON,
Ohio (WKRC) — Cincinnati's Ethiopian community is in mourning and
searching for answers.
This comes
after three people were shot and killed in Mt. Washington on Sunday.
Araya Amsalu said all three belonged to the Mahdereselam Kidanemihret
Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
This comes
after three people were shot and killed in Mt. Washington on Sunday.
Araya Amsalu said all three belonged to the Mahdereselam Kidanemihret
Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
"Bemnet,
who has been here the longest, has been here about five years, I
think, or six years. He came in to go to college, so his aunt lives
here, and his mom comes frequently," said Amsalu. "The
young ladies came in to go to school, and they are like, they are
closer with the young people."
The Adugnas
worked at Good Samaritan Hospital.
"Well-mannered,
well-disciplined, very hard-working, nice ladies," said Amsalu.
Which is why he
and others were not only shocked but also devastated to see what
happened on Sunday.
"I mean,
three at a time, people are looking at this and saying, 'Three,
three.' One is a lot," said Amsalu.
Amsalu told
Local 12 on Tuesday that the Ethiopian community here is small, with
only about 3,000 people. He said they are very tight-knit and calls
this tragedy the worst his community has seen in his almost 30 years
here.
"In our
culture, the main thing is this event, the mourning process, is
something that needed to be handled by friends and relatives,"
said Amsalu.
He also touched
on the pain the entire community is feeling.
"As a
community, there is a lot of fear; it's just, this happened, it could
be my daughter next or my son next—that's what people are thinking
about," said Amsalu.
As they try to
process the deaths of Deresse and the Adugnas, he spoke about where
the community goes from here.
"The
biggest thing is the healing process starts normally after the
funeral," said Amsalu. "The other thing is we are trying to
extract what lessons we learn from this situation. Is there anything
we can do for our young people to protect our young people?"
Police haven't
identified the fourth person or released details on the shooter.

☪ A
Tunisian Muslim was
shot and killed by police in Marseille on Tuesday after allegedly
stabbing multiple people while reciting verses from the Qur’an.
At
least four people were injured during a stabbing spree in the coastal
French city of Marseille. According to Le Figaro, the incident
occurred following an argument between the migrant knifeman and a
downtown hotel owner over the lack of payment for a room.
Police
initially attempted to subdue the Tunisian national with a taser;
however, they were ultimately forced to shoot him down after he
failed to comply.
Le
Figaro reported that during the altercation with police, the migrant
was quoting verses from the Islamic holy book of the Qur’an.
The
paper went on to report that the suspected attacker had previously
been placed under judicial control, barring him from carrying
weapons.
According
to Le Parisien, the Tunisian man had previously come under the
scrutiny of local intelligence services for having made anti-semitic
remarks.
All
four victims of the stabbing spree have reportedly been hospitalised,
with three being considered in a state of “absolute emergency”
and the other being classified as being in “relative emergency”.

hates murder (hands that shed innocent blood)
❖[Proverbs
6:16-19]❖
“There are
six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a
heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among
brothers.”

Afghanistan Earthquake: A devastating 6.0-magnitude earthquake has
struck northern Afghanistan, killing more than 1,400 people and
injuring over 3,000, with authorities warning the toll could rise as
thousands remain trapped under the rubble of flattened villages. The
quake, centered near Jalalabad in eastern Afghanistan, destroyed more
than 8,000 homes and triggered landslides that blocked critical
mountain roads. The worst-hit province is Kunar, where villagers are
digging with bare hands to rescue survivors from homes made of mud
and stone.

😳 A
cheating scandal at a Coldplay concert has gone uncontrollably viral.
Dubbed "Coldplaygate" and exposing former CEO of
Astronomer, Andy Byron, and chief people officer, Kristin Cabot, the
shocking moment has sparked massive controversy.
He Cheated On
His Family, and Every Employee Who Trusted Him.
Andy Byron, CEO
of Astronomer, a company worth millions, just got caught on video
having an affair with his Chief People
Officer Kristin Cabot. She’s married. He’s married. He and his
wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, have two children together.
And now the
whole world turn upside down to them as lord find a way to caught on
them during Coldplay concert when they popped up on LED hugging
together.
The Insider
described Byron as a "sales-obsessed" executive who was
allegedly "toxic" in the workplace.
Byron, who is
reportedly married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, had his arms around
Cabot’s waist during the infamous kiss cam moment.
As the stadium
camera lingered on them, Cabot covered her face and turned away,
while Byron dove behind a barrier in a cringeworthy attempt to hide.
As he caught
view of himself, Byron appeared to say "f****** hell, it's me".
Coldplay
frontman Chris Martin, initially believing he had caught a sweet
couple’s moment, said from the stage: “Either they’re having an
affair or they’re very shy.”
As laughter
echoed around the packed stadium, Martin followed up: “Holy s**t. I
hope we didn’t do something bad.”
This isn’t
just some office romance gone sideways. This is a full-blown collapse
of character from the man who’s supposed to be leading one of the
biggest tech companies in the world. And it wasn’t just anyone he’s
doing this with the head of Human Resources. The very person who’s
supposed to uphold workplace integrity.
This wasn’t a
mistake. It was always choice. Over and over again.
And while he
and Kristin snuck around, Megan (his wife) was at home the woman who
stood by him, raised their kids, believed in him. And now, thanks to
his behavior, his family is being humiliated on a global scale.
This is about
more than infidelity. It’s about who these people are at their
core.

Polish millionaire Piotr Szczerek was caught on video stealing a
signed hat from a child at the US Open, resulting in immediate
outrage online.
🎾
Tennis star Kamil Majchrzak signed his hat and tried to hand it to
the child, but just as he was about to get it, Szczerek grabbed it
and put it away before taking a selfie with his wife, ignoring the
child's protests.
'I was
pointing, giving the hat, but I had a lot going on after my match,
after being super tired and super excited for the win. I just missed
it. I had like a dead look if you know what I mean. I'm sure the guy
was also acting in the moment of heat, in the moment of emotions,'
Majchrzak told the New York Post.
The CEO has
since deactivated all of his social media accounts after the clip
went viral, and users on a Polish job search site reportedly
criticised him harshly on the site.

one little ewe lamb, which he had bought. And he brought it up, and
it grew up with him and with his children. It used to eat of his
morsel and drink from his cup and lie in his arms,1 and it was like a
daughter to him. Now there came a traveler to the rich man, and he

prepared it for the man who had come to him.”“
