A spot on the sun 10 times larger than Earth has been seen on the solar surface — and its appearance coincided with a massive solar flare.

This is the most complex sun spot region we have seen this cycle and in quite a while. It is showing some serious complexity and will be earth facing over the next 12 days. Would you fly?

Sunspots are areas of intense and complex magnetic fields that produce solar eruptions, according to NASA. Earth-orbiting satellites detected an X1.9 class solar flare at 02:49 UTC on Dec. 1, 2025. It came in the wake of a couple of weaker M-class solar flares.

Massive Sunspot

The massive sunspot, dubbed AR 4294-96, is one of the biggest seen in a decade and expected to be the source of solar flares over the next few weeks, but Dec. 1's solar flare actually came from a smaller one called AR 4295, according to SpaceWeather.com.

Solar flares alone do not cause displays of aurora at Earth. Large solar X-ray flares can change Earth’s ionosphere, causing radio blackouts on the day-side of the Earth, according to NOAA. This one saw a blackout in Australia.

The electromagnetic radiation from a solar flare travels at the speed of light, taking just eight minutes to reach Earth. It’s what can follow in the aftermath of a big solar flare — a coronal mass ejection — that can lead to geomagnetic storms. That’s when an aurora can develop.

In the Book of Revelation (11:19) the Ark of the Covenant appears again, this time in the Celestial Temple in fulfillment of the prophecy of Jeremiah. This vision of The Ark leads immediately in revelation to the vision of the woman clothed with THE SUN who was with child (rev. 12:1). The image is that of Mary, presented as Mother of the Messiah and spiritual Mother of Israel, the New Ark of the Covenant.

Immediately following this verse we read of the “woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of TWELVE/ 12 stars”. The Ark of the Covenant as we have seen above, is none other than Mary, Jesus’ mother, so Mary is the woman spoken of here. (Remember that chapter numbers were only added to the bible in the twelth century, and verse numbers in the sixteenth century.)

Rev: 12:1 “1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

Rev 12: 4-5 “4 Its tail swept a third of the stars from the sky and hurled them to the ground, and the dragon stopped in front of the woman as she was at the point of giving birth, so that it could eat the child as soon as it was born.

5 The woman was delivered of a boy, the son who was to rule all the nations with an iron sceptre, and the child was taken straight up to God and to his throne,”

The Boy is Jesus, who is “to rule all the nations with an iron sceptre” according to the prophecy of Psalm 2 .

Psalm 2: 8-9 “8 Ask of me, and I shall give you the nations as your birthright, the whole wide world as your possession.

9 With an iron sceptre you will break them, shatter them like so many pots.’ )

The Boy’s Mother Is Mary

Rev: 12:17 “17 Then the dragon was enraged with the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her children, who obey God’s commandments and have in themselves the witness of Jesus.”

And in verse 17 Mary’s children are those “who obey God’s commandments and have in themselves the witness of Jesus”, that is all of us Christians.

Ps 132:8 “Go up, Yahweh, to your resting-place, you and the ark of your strength.”

Our Mother St Mary is called “Tsion”. It means a mount, something that you would hide yourself in. When God told Lot to escape because he going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah he told him “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.” Genesis 19: 17. Our fathers symbolize St. Mary as the mountain that Lot hid in. King David also said “His foundation is in the holy mountains. The Lord loves the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob.” Psalm 87:1. After stating that our Virgin Mary is the dwelling place of God and that she is also our refuge King David Continued to say “For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it” Psalm 132:13.

Just like The Ark of Covenant is where the commandments of God is written, God the Son dwelled in St. Mary. Kudus Efriem said in wdasie Mariam ZeArb (Friday) “ኮንኪ ታቦቶ ለፈጣሬ ሰማያት ወምድር” You have became the resting-place for the creator of the Heaven and earth.

በታቦት ሰሌዳ ላይ ‹አልፋ ወዖ› የሚለው ስመ እግዚአብሔር እንደተቀረጸ ሁሉ በአማናዊቷ ታቦት በእመቤታችን ማሕፀንም ሥግው ቃል ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ተቀርጿል። በዚህ ዕለት በኢትዮጵያ የሚከበረው ታቦተ ጽዮን ባለችባት አክሱም ብቻ አይደለም። በእመቤታችን ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ስም በታነጹ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ሁሉ በተለያዩ ቦታዎች ይከበራል።

Captured by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory between Monday and Thursday, the hole spans an astonishing 186,000 miles—enough space to line up over 23 Earths side by side. Known as a coronal hole, this dark region on the sun’s surface forms when magnetic fields open up, allowing charged particles to escape as high-speed solar wind.

In the Book of Revelation (11:19) the Ark of the Covenant appears again, this time in the Celestial Temple in fulfillment of the prophecy of Jeremiah. This vision of The Ark leads immediately in revelation to the vision of the woman clothed with THE SUN who was with child (rev. 12:1). The image is that of Mary, presented as Mother of the Messiah and spiritual Mother of Israel, the New Ark of the Covenant.

Mary as the Ark of the New Covenant – Revelation

Rev: 11:19 “19 Then the sanctuary of God in heaven opened, and the ark of the covenant could be seen inside it. Then came flashes of lightning, peals of thunder and an earthquake and violent hail.”

Immediately following this verse we read of the “woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of TWELVE/ 12 stars”. The Ark of the Covenant as we have seen above, is none other than Mary, Jesus’ mother, so Mary is the woman spoken of here. (Remember that chapter numbers were only added to the bible in the twelth century, and verse numbers in the sixteenth century.)

Rev: 12:1 “1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman, robed with the sun, standing on the moon, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

Rev 12: 4-5 “4 Its tail swept a third of the stars from the sky and hurled them to the ground, and the dragon stopped in front of the woman as she was at the point of giving birth, so that it could eat the child as soon as it was born.

5 The woman was delivered of a boy, the son who was to rule all the nations with an iron sceptre, and the child was taken straight up to God and to his throne,”

The Boy is Jesus, who is “to rule all the nations with an iron sceptre” according to the prophecy of Psalm 2 .

Psalm 2: 8-9 “8 Ask of me, and I shall give you the nations as your birthright, the whole wide world as your possession.

9 With an iron sceptre you will break them, shatter them like so many pots.’ )

The Boy’s Mother Is Mary

Rev: 12:17 “17 Then the dragon was enraged with the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her children, who obey God’s commandments and have in themselves the witness of Jesus.”

And in verse 17 Mary’s children are those “who obey God’s commandments and have in themselves the witness of Jesus”, that is all of us Christians.

Ps 132:8 “Go up, Yahweh, to your resting-place, you and the ark of your strength.”

❖ The Ark of the Covenant had the power to bless and curse, and that it was the dwelling place of God's presence. (1 Samuel 4:3-7). The Ark of Covenant Can Destroy An Entire Planet & Everything on It (Revelation 11:19).

Our Mother St Mary is called “Tsion”. It means a mount, something that you would hide yourself in. When God told Lot to escape because he going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah he told him “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.” Genesis 19: 17. Our fathers symbolize St. Mary as the mountain that Lot hid in. King David also said “His foundation is in the holy mountains. The Lord loves the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob.” Psalm 87:1. After stating that our Virgin Mary is the dwelling place of God and that she is also our refuge King David Continued to say “For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it” Psalm 132:13.

Just like The Ark of Covenant is where the commandments of God is written, God the Son dwelled in St. Mary. Kudus Efriem said in wdasie Mariam ZeArb (Friday) “ኮንኪ ታቦቶ ለፈጣሬ ሰማያት ወምድር” You have became the resting-place for the creator of the Heaven and earth.

Axum, a Holy City in Ethiopia’s northern Tigray region, whose main Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion is believed by Ethiopian Orthodox Christians to hold The Biblical Ark of The Covenant.

❖ This November, we Christians are marking this November the 5th anniversary of the genocide against Ethiopian Christians.

Five years ago This week (between November 26 and 29, 2020), 1000 Orthodox Christians were brutally massacred in The Holy city of Axum, Ethiopia, while defending The Biblical Ark of The Covenant.

27. - 29. November 2020 Muslim soldiers from Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia armed by Iran, UAE and Turkey went on the rampage in Axum, a Holy City in Ethiopia’s northern Tigray region, whose main Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion is believed by Ethiopian Orthodox Christians to hold The Biblical Ark of Covenant.

Over the course of 24 hours, the Muslim soldiers went door to door summarily shooting unarmed young men and boys. Some of the victims were as young as 13.

Every year the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church celebrates “Hidar Tsion” on the 21st of November in geez calendar. It is one of the 33 Holidays that our church has put for St. Mary. The history of the Holiday goes back to when God saw the Israelis suffering and led them out Egypt through the red-sea by the prophet Moses. God gave them an Ark of Covenant that includes the Ten Commandments so that they can worship him and obey his words. “and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying, “Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel: ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” Exodus 19:3. So with the Ark of Covenant with them they started their journey to the Promised Land beating every obstacle that were in front of them.

The bible tells us in many events whenever an enemy comes to the Israelis they would take the Ark of Covenant and by the power of God they were able to defeat all of their enemies. They were even able to take down tower of Jericho Joshua 6. So through the leadership of different people God lead his people; although they would disobey his commandments at times God always had mercy upon them.

Among the leaders that God had chosen for the people of Israel was Eli the high priest. They fought with Philistines and as usual with the help of the Ark of Covenant, they defeated them several times. However, during the leadership of Eli the Israelis started disobeying God’s Commandments. Eli’s sons that were chosen to serve the house of the Lord were committing adultery and many sinful things. When another war with the Philistines arose, the Israelis carried the Ark of Covenant to help them defeat their enemies, separated the lake of Jordan, and broke the tower of Jericho to the battlefield. But because their sinful deeds during the war there were a lot of people who died, many were heavily injured, the two sons of Eli died and the Ark of Covenant that was their power and strength got captured by the Philistines who worshiped Idol. When Priest Eli heard that the Ark of Covenant was captured, he fell from his seat and died. Phinehas’ wife was in labor to give birth, when she heard all this she named her baby Ichabod, which mean the glory has departed from Israel. “And she said, “The glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God has been captured.” 1 Samuel 4:22.

The Philistines placed the Ark of Covenant in the house of Dagon ( their Idol). The next morning they found Dagon by his face kneeling to the Ark of Covenant. There was a lot of death and a lot of problems; & it was getting worst day by day so the Philistines decided to send it back to Israel[ 1 Samuel 6]. It was in this month that they Ark of Covenant came back to its place, which is why our church celebrates it with great Glory.

🧕 Hidar Tsion (St. Mary) Hidar ፳፩ (November 21, Ethiopian Calendar) – November 29 (Gregorian Calendar)

The Virgin Mary is one of the most venerated of all religious figures in Ethiopia. About 33 days are annually dedicated to different celebrations in the commemoration of Mary. „Hidar Zion“ is associated with the presence of the Ark of the Covenant in Axum and the belief that the Ark itself is a symbolism to The Womb of The Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Lord Jesus Christ died at 33. The human spine has 33 vertebrae. The same structure that holds us up is the same number of years He held this Earth.

We have 12 ribs on each side. 12 disciples. 12 tribes of Israel. God built His design into our bones. He wrote Heaven into our anatomy.

Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church honors Saint Michael (Kidus Mikael); the Angel of mercy; on the 12th of each month of which two of them are great annual feasts of the saint – on Hidar 12 (November 21) and Senie 12 (June 19). His name Michael means “who is like God”.

Joshua, the son of Nun, saw him in great glory and was frightened by him and fell on his face to the earth and said to him, "Are you for us, or for our adversaries?" So he said, "No; but as Commander of the army of the Lord... I have given Jericho into your hand, ... and its king." (Joshua 5:13-15, 6:2)

3. The Exodus of Israel from Egypt through the help of the Arch Angle Michael

Exodus 14:19-22:

19 Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went behind them. Michael, is the commander of the angels, came down from heaven, and rolled back the stone from the mouth of the tomb, and announced the women “Christ is risen from the dead”.

St. Paul observes that the Hebrews “ all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea” (1 Cor. 10:1-4; Rom. 6:3-4; Gal. 3:27).

There is a common ritual practiced by the devotees in order to commemorate, worship and give thanks. Ethiopian traditional bread – Difo Dabo, roasted barley – Kolo in the name of St. Michael are being prepared and shared in the church.
