በምስራቅ ኦርቶዶክስ ሥነ-መለኮት፣ ያልተፈጠረ ብርሃን (የታቦር ብርሃን በመባልም ይታወቃል) የሚያመለክተው ዘላለማዊ፣ መለኮታዊ ኃይል እና የእግዚአብሔር የሚያበራ ክብር ነው - ኢየሱስ በታቦር ተራራ ላይ በተለወጠበት ጊዜ ከበራው ብርሃን ጋር ተመሳሳይ ብርሃን። በአሜሪካ/በዩናይትድ ስቴትስ፣ የኦርቶዶክስ ደብሮች (እንደ ግሪክ፣ አንጾኪያ እና የአሜሪካ ኦርቶዶክስ አብያተ ክርስቲያናት ያሉ) ያልተፈጠረ ብርሃንን በአምልኮ ጊዜ በሰው ሰራሽ መንገድ የሚፈጠር አካላዊ፣ የእይታ ክስተት አድርገው አይመለከቱትም፤ ይልቁንም፣ አማኞች በመለኮታዊው ሥነ-ስርዓት ማክበር የሚሳተፉበት መንፈሳዊ እውነታ ነው።

በኦርቶዶክስ ሥነ-መለኮት ውስጥ ትርጉም

• ያልተፈጠረ፡- ከፀሐይ ብርሃን ወይም ከመብራት ብርሃን በተለየ መልኩ ይህ ብርሃን መጀመሪያ የለውም እና የቁሳዊው ዓለም ብርሃን አይደለም።

• የእግዚአብሔር ክብር፡- ይህ የእግዚአብሔር እውነተኛ፣ ያልተፈጠረ ኃይል ነው ፥ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በታቦር ተራራ ላይ ብርሃነ መለኮቱን፣ ክብረ መንግሥቱን መግለጡን ባሳየበት ወቅት የበራው መለኮታዊ ብሩህነት።

• በውስጥ ልምድ፡- ቅዱሳንና ምሥጢራውያን ይህንን ብርሃን በጥልቅ ጸሎት፣ በልብ ንጽህና እና በቅዱስ ማሰላሰል ማየት ወይም መሰማትን ይገልጻሉ።

• የለውጥ ኃይል፡- ብርሃንን ማግኘት ይፈውሳል፣ ትሑት ያደርጋል ብሎም የሰውን ልብ በመለኮታዊ ሰላምና በመንፈሳዊ እውቀት ይሞላል።

የሚገርም ነው፤ ባለፈው ሳምንት ላይ ለአንዲት ከሊባኖስ ለመጣች ክርስቲያን እኅታችን ሰለ ቅድስት ባርባራ እና ስለ ኢትዮጵያ የመጀመሪያ ጳጳስ ስለ ቅዱስ ፍሬምናጦስ(አባ ሰላማ ከሳቴ ብርሃን)የምታወቀው ነገር ይኖር ብዬ ስጠይቃት ነበር። እኅታችን ከመጣችበት ከጢሮስ አካባቢ የተገኙ ቅዱሳን ናቸውና።

ቅድስት ባርባራ በ፫ኛው መቶ ክፍለ ዘመን መገባደጃና በ፬ኛው መቶ ክፍለ ዘመን መጀመሪያ የኖረች ታላቅ ሰማዕት ናት። በትውልድ ፊንቄ (በአሁኗ ሊባኖስ/ሶርያ አካባቢ) የበዓልበክ (ፊሊጶስ ሪያፖሊስ) ከተማ ሰው ነበረች።

በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተክርስቲያን መስከረም ፳፭ (25) ቀን ዓመታዊ የመታሰቢያ በዓሏ ይከበራል። በሥዕለ አድኖዋ ላይ ብዙ ጊዜ የሥላሴ ምሳሌ የሆነውን ሦስት መስኮት ያለው ግንብ ይዛ ትሳላለች።

Meaning in Orthodox Theology

• Not Created: Unlike sunlight or lamp light, this light has no beginning and does not belong to the material world.

• The Glory of God: It is the actual, uncreated energy of God—the same divine brilliance that shone from Jesus Christ during his Transfiguration on Mount Tabor.

• Experienced Internally: Saints and mystics describe seeing or feeling this light through deep prayer, purity of heart, and holy contemplation.

• Transformative Power: Encountering the light heals, humbles, and fills the human heart with divine peace and spiritual knowledge.
