HENRY, Tennessee — A large fire at a plastics recycling facility in Henry drew firefighters from multiple departments on Friday as crews worked for hours to contain the flames and heavy smoke.
The blaze was reported on the morning of May 8 at Sigma Renew 360, a plastics recycling plant, and continued burning into the afternoon, according to authorities.
The McKenzie Fire Department, the Henry County Fire Department, and the Carroll County Fire Department all joined the two-alarm fire response to the three buildings on fire at the plant facility compound.
