በግ:የዋህነትን፣ ትዕግሥትንና ያለ በደል ስለሰው ልጅ መሥዋዕት መሆንን ይወክላል። ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ የዓለምን ኃጢአት ለማስወገድ እንደ በግ ወደ መታረድ መሄዱን እና በመስቀል ላይ መከራ መቀበሉን የሚያሳይ ነው። የእነዚህ ሁለት ተቃራኒ ባሕርያት ጥምረት፤ ፈጣሪ ለፍጥረቱ ያለውን ጥልቅ ፍቅር፣ ፍትሕና አባትነት ያሳያል።
