💭 ‘የሁሉም ልጆች፡’ ኢትዮጵያውያን እስራኤላውያን በጋዛ ጦርነት ከፍተኛ ጉዳት ደርሶባቸዋል።

ኢትዮጵያውያን እስራኤላውያን በባህላዊ የግዴታ እና የሀገር ፍቅር ስሜት የሚነዱ ያልተመጣጠነ ከፍተኛ ቁጥር ያላቸው የወደቁ ወታደሮች ናቸው።

ይህ ዜና እስከተጠናቀረበት ጊዜ ድረስ በጦርነቱ ወደ ፱፻/900 የሚጠጉ የእስራኤል ወታደሮች የተገደሉ ሲሆን ፵/40 ያህሉ ደግሞ የኢትዮጵያ ማህበረሰብ አባላት ነበሩ። እ.አ.አ በ2022 የማዕከላዊ ስታትስቲክስ ቢሮ ባወጣው ሪፖርት መሠረት፣ ከጠቅላላው ሕዝብ ሁለት በመቶ/2% ያህሉ ኢትዮጵያውያን እስራኤላውያን ቢሆኑም፣ ከጠቅላላው አራት ነጥብ አምስት/4.5% ገደማው ነው።

ዘ ጀሩሳሌም ፖስት ላይ የታተመ አንድ አስተያየት ዘጠና በመቶ/90% ኢትዮጵያውያን ትውልደ እስራኤላውያን በ እስራኤል መከላከያ ኃይል (IDF) ውስጥ እንደሚመዘገቡ እና ግማሾቹ በጦርነት ሚና እንደሚጫወቱ አመልክቷል። ከሴቶች መካከል፣ የምዝገባ መጠኑ ሰባ በመቶ/70% አካባቢ ነው፤ ሁለቱም አሃዞች ከአገር አቀፍ አማካኝ በእጅጉ ከፍ ያሉ ናቸው።

"በአካባቢያችን ያሉ ወጣቶች በውጊያ ውስጥ መሆንን ይመርጣሉ" ሲል ጎሼን ተናግሯል። "ለሀገር ለመታገል የመረጡትን ወጣቶች እናከብራለን"

ይህ የግዴታ ስሜት በኢትዮጵያ ባህል ውስጥ ስር የሰደደ ነው ይላሉ ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊው አለም አቀፍ መምህር እና የማህበረሰብ ተሟጋች ሽሙኤል ለገሰ።

"በባህላችን መሰረት ወደ ወታደር ተቀላቅለህ ለሀገርህ መሞት ጀግንነት ነው" ሲል ለገሰ ለመገናኛ ብዙሃን ተናግሯል።

ፋኖ የሚባል ፅንሰ-ሀሳብ እንዲህ በማለት አብራርቷል፤ አንድ ሰው ሚስትህን ፣ ወላጆችህን ፣ ቤትህን ወይም መሬትህን ቢያጠቃ እነሱን መበቀል አለብህ የሚለውን ሀሳብ ነው። ያ መንፈስ፣ እንደ ሌተናል አቪቻይል ሬውቨን ባሉ ታሪኮች ውስጥ ይኖራል፣ እሱም በታዋቂነት ከኪርያት ሚልክያስ ወደ ጋዛ ድንበር በጥቅምት ሰባት/7 ስምንት ማይል ሮጦ ሄዶ ነበር። በኋላም በጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ቤንጃሚን ኔታንያሁ በዋሽንግተን ዲሲ ከኮንግረሱ የጋራ ስብሰባ በፊት በክብር ተነስቷል።

ነገር ግን ለገሰ የኢትዮጵያ እስራኤላውያን ወታደሮች ያበረከቱት አስተዋጽኦ እና የከፈሉት መስዋዕትነት ብዙ ጊዜ ችላ ይባላል ብሎ ያምናል።

እ.ኤ.አ. በ 1967 ዓ.ም አዲስ የተመሰረተው እና በደንብ ያልታጠቀው የእስራኤል መንግስት የሶስት የአረብ መንግስታትን - ግብፅን ፣ ሶሪያን እና ዮርዳኖስን - የስድስት ቀን ጦርነት ተብሎ በሚታወቀው ጦርነት አሸንፏል። የስድስት ቀን ጦርነት ከአስራ አምስት ሺህ/15,000 በላይ የአረቦች ሞት ያስከተለ ሲሆን እስራኤል ግን ከአንድ ሺህ/1,000 በታች ተጎድታለች። ታድያ ለምንድነው የዛሬይቱ እስራኤል እጅግ ዘመናዊ የጦር መሳሪያ እና የስለላ ቴክኖሎጂ ታጥቃ ትንሿን ጋዛን ለመቆጣጠር ያልቻለችው ወይም ያልፈለገችው? የጋዛ ጦርነት ከኦክቶበር 7፣ 2023 ጀምሮ ለሁለት ዓመታት ያህል 'ሲካሄድ' ቆይቷል።

በነገራችን ላይ ሃያ ሁለት/22 ግዙፍ የአረብ ሙስሊም እና ሃምሳ ሦስት/53 ሙስሊም-አብዛኛዎቹ ሀገራት እያሉ እስራኤል እስከ ሁለት ሚሊዮን የሚደርሱ የአረብ ሙስሊሞች (ከጠቅላላው ህዝብ 18.1%) በእስራኤል እንዲኖሩ ለምን ፈቀደች? አስተውል፣ ከታሪካዊ እና መንፈሳዊ ህጋዊነት አንፃር ክርስቲያኖች ሳይሆኑ፣ የሙስሊም ህዝብ ነው በእስራኤል ውስጥ ትልቁ አናሳ ሃይማኖት እንዲሆን የተደረገው። ለምን?

የታቦተ ጽዮን (ኢትዮጵያውያን) ልጆች በየቦታው እየሞቱ ነው; በኢትዮጵያ ተራሮች፣ በመካከለኛው ምስራቅ፣ በሰሃራ እና በሲና በረሃዎች፣ በሜዲትራኒያን እና በቀይ ባህር። ነጠብጣቦቹን አገናኙ ....

ታቦተ ጽዮን ታቦተ ጽዮን ብቻ እንዳልሆነችና የአክሱም ጽዮን ልጆች በደማቸው ታቦተ ጽዮንን እንደሚሸከሙ ስለተገነዘቡ ሥጋዊው ዓለም ሁሉ ዛሬ ለታቦተ ጽዮን ትልቅ ትኩረት ይሰጣሉ። በጡባዊው ላይ ብቻ አናተኩር! እስራኤል ሥጋን ጨምሮ የጽዮን ማርያም ልጆችን ሁሉ ከምድር ገጽ ጠራርገው ደብረ ጽዮንን (ኢትዮጵያን) + የጥቁር አባይ ምንጭ (የታላቁን የሕዳሴ ግድብ) ተቆጣጥረው አካባቢውን ሁሉ በእጃቸው ማስገባት ይፈልጋሉ። ይህ ሁሉ ለልዑላቸው ሉሲፈር ሲሉ ነው! ግን መቼም አይሳካላቸውም፣ እንደውም የራሳቸውን ውድቀት እያፋጠኑ ነው!

ሁሉም ሃጋራውያን / እስማኤላውያን; ኢራን፣ ፓኪስታን፣ ሳዑዲ አረቢያ፣ ቱርክ፣ ኳታር፣ ኢምሬቶች፣ ግብጽ፣ ሱዳን፣ ሶማሊያ፣ አልጄሪያ እና እስራኤል - ከሥጋ በኋላ (የሥጋዊ ማንነት እና ተፈጥሮ ያላቸው ሃጋሪያውያን/ እስማኤላውያን)፣ አሜሪካ፣ አውሮፓ፣ ሩሲያ፣ ዩክሬን፣ ቻይና፣ ቱርክ፣ ኢራን ለታቦተ ጽዮንን ፍለጋ ሲሉ በአክሱማዊት ኢትዮጵያ ላይ ዘመቱ። እና በሚቀጥሉት ሳምንታት እና ወራት ውስጥ እንደገና ለመዝመት በዝግጅት ላይ ናቸው። አሁን በመካከለኛው ምስራቅ ያለው አሳዛኝ ጦርነት (የእስራኤል-ኢራን-የመን ጦርነት ድራማን ጨምሮ) በአርሜኒያ እና በኢትዮጵያ እየተካሄደ ካለው የዘር ማጽዳት እና የዘር ማጥፋት ዘመቻ ሌላው ታማኝነት የጎደለው የረቀቀ አካሄድ ነው። አርሜኒያ እና ኢትዮጵያ የፕላኔታችን ሁለቱ ጥንታዊ የክርስቲያን መንግስታት ናቸው።

ለወገኖቼ ነፍሳቸውን ይማርላቸውና፤ ከቀናት በፊት መቶ ሃምሳ አራት ኢትዮጵያውያን በየመን 'አብያን' (ቦታው ሆን ተብሎ መመረጡን እናገናዝበው) በዚሁ ወቅት እዚያው አካባቢ በየመን፣ እስራኤል እና አሜሪካ መካከል የጥቃት ልውውጥ ይካሄድ ነበር። ዲያብሎሳዊ ሤራ?

When Sgt. Oriya Ayimalk Goshen was killed on Jan. 17, 2024, during a mission to rescue hostages in Khan Yunis, his dreams of service and sacrifice came to a tragic end. He was just 21 years old.

A proud Ethiopian Israeli, Oriya had one goal: to give back to his country, his father, Eyov Goshen, told The Media Line.

He looked to do serious army service. He wanted to give back to Israel.

“He looked to do serious army service,” Goshen said. “He wanted to give back to Israel.”

Oriya served in Sayeret Golani, an elite IDF unit. His family and friends described him as well-loved by everyone who served with him. Now, his absence is a constant presence in their lives.

Oriya is one of a growing number of Ethiopian Israeli soldiers who have died fighting since the Hamas massacre on Oct. 7.

As of this writing, nearly 900 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the war, and around 40 of them were members of the Ethiopian community. That’s about 4.5% of the total, even though Ethiopian Israelis make up only about 2% of the population, according to a 2022 report by the Central Bureau of Statistics.

An opinion piece published in The Jerusalem Post highlighted that roughly 90% of Israeli men of Ethiopian descent enlist in the IDF, and about half of them serve in combat roles. Among women, the enlistment rate is around 70% — both figures are significantly higher than the national average.

“The young people in our community choose to be in combat,” Goshen said. “We respect the young people that choose to fight for the country.”

This sense of duty is deeply rooted in Ethiopian culture, explained Shmuel Legesse, an international educator and community activist of Ethiopian descent.

“According to our culture, it is heroic to join the army and die for your country,” Legesse told The Media Line.

He explained a concept called fano — the idea that if someone attacks your wife, parents, home or land, you must avenge them. That spirit, he said, lives on in stories like that of Lt. Avichail Reuven, who famously ran eight miles from his home in Kiryat Malachi to the Gaza border on Oct. 7. Reuven wasn’t yet called up and didn’t have a car, but carried his rifle and joined the fight. He was later honored by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, D.C., before a joint session of Congress.

But Legesse also believes the contributions and sacrifices of Ethiopian Israeli soldiers are too often overlooked.

I don’t feel like enough has been done to recognize our community’s contribution. It is not identified, counted or given enough attention by the media or the government.

“When we fall in battle, the world remains silent,” he said, expressing frustration that his community is still depreciated. “I don’t feel like enough has been done to recognize our community’s contribution. Goshen said that while he feels his own family is receiving support, he knows many others who are not — often due to language barriers or a lack of knowledge about available resources. He urged the government to provide more support in Amharic for families of fallen soldiers.
