ከአራት ዓመታት በፊት ፥ ሰኞ፣ ጥር ፫/3 ፣ ፳፻፲፫/2013 ዓ.ም በሉሲፈራውያኑ ኤዶማውያን ሮማውያን እና በእስማኤላውያኑ አረቦች፣ ቱርኮች እና ኢራናውያን የሚደገፉት የፋሺስቱ ጋላ-ኦሮሞ እና የኤርትራ አገዛዞች ሃይሎች ከኦርቶዶክስ ቤተክርስቲያን እጅግ ጥንታዊ ከሆኑት (፮/6 ኛው ክፍለዘመን) አንዱ የሆነውን የአባታችን አቡነ አረጋዊን ደብረ ዳሞ ገዳምን በከፍተኛ የጦር መሳሪያዎች ድብደባ እንደሚያደርጉ አዳዲስ ዘገባዎች እይወጡ ነው። በደርዘን የሚቆጠሩ ምዕመናን በዋናነት ደግሞ መነኮሳት የጥቃቱ ሰለባ እንደሆኑ እየተዘገበ ነው።
